18.5 Miscellaneous requirements. Bleachers or similar structures at a public function must be safe. If the public function is also a place of public assembly or other place or activity subject to regulation by the New York State Department of Labor, then the permit-issuing official may seek information from that agency to aid evaluation of the safety of such structures.
